I just had to repost this. I remember watching this speech back in July when it first aired. I rewinded it a handful of times. I loved it. I had known of Stuart Scott from ESPN, but only Stuart Scott the sports guy. This speech introduced us to Stuart Scott, the human being. His words were so touching in so many ways. He knew what mattered. He knew that some battles, while hard fought... were not meant to be fought alone. He knew that being a dad was the greatest gift of all and it was all that he wanted to do. He told the world that sometimes, you just have to cry. There is a sadness today, not just in the world of sports... but everywhere. There is no braver a man than the man who fights with everything he has to be here for his children. There is no luckier a child than the child who is loved by this determined soul. ❤️ Take 6 minutes to listen to this.
