I just have to give a quick shout-out to one of my old high school friends, Tracy Myers Brigida, who I have not seen in decades but have been in good touch with here on FB. She recently went to see Raiding The Rock Vault in Vegas which, if you dont know, is a classic rock spectacular featuring some of biggest names in the business from a bunch of 80s hard rock bands, including Paul Shortino, Tracii Guns and Howard Leese, among others. She got one of the color programs, wound up getting the thing signed by everybody and sending it to me as a surprise. Funny part is, according to the note she enclosed, she wasnt sure if I liked or knew any of the artists who perform in this, but thought I might like to have it. To say I like a lot of these musicians is an understatement. This is truly one of those random acts of kindness that can really make a difference. It was totally unexpected, extremely thoughtful and an awesome gift. Really really cant thank her enough. I didnt have the easiest go of it in High School, particularly at Frankfort-Schuyler where we both attended, but as I told her some time ago, she was always one of the good ones. A really sweet person and one of the few that wasnt amused to have me shoved in a locker (yes, that happened, amongst other pretty awful things. Didnt know it was called bullying back then). So, anyway, thank you again for doing something so selfless. It made my day. Waiting for my camera to finish charging, so I can take a few photos to post.
