I just have to say tonight on the eve of Thanksgiving, as I walk down the halls of the ICU unit, I have walked past too many rooms of patients that have no family in them. I have found myself praying for them and asking God to comfort them for hours on end. I think that every once in awhile we need to remind ourselves, that some people are not so lucky as to have family in their lives. Not everybody has somebody sitting at their bedside as they fight the biggest fight they will ever encounter. I have been blessed to sit here with my best friend, and I thank God that He has made that happen!! But they do have Jesus. I wonder if they know him? Then I ask myself, have we taken time to show others His love? Those are just my thoughts tonight, on the eve of Thanksgiving, the holiday where we are thankful. Please remember tomorrow, even if there are family dynamics where things arent perfect, you have FAMILY/FRIENDS! Give them an extra hug, spend time with them, love on them just a little more! For those that dont that are reading this, know that I have prayed for you tonight,and that Jesus does love you!! HAPPY ALMOST THANKSGIVING!!
