I just heard a report about one of the guys that we gave an audible bible 3 years ago.. We knew he could not read and he was called on to read a passage in a group. The ones that knew him personally were shocked when he opened his Bible and began to read. Unfortunately, the power went out while Philipe was reading. As he continued without light, in the pitch dark, not missing a word, they realized that Philipe had memorized a large portion of the New Testament using the Audio. I cried when I heard this because I personally made sure he got to use one. Thanks to everyone who helps us make it possible for people like Philipe to read aloud with when he is called on. Special thanks to Terry J Tolbert, Jen Chambers Tolbert , Barb Rash and Ronnie Hopkins who have brought down Proclaimers and other Audio Bibles.
