I just learned something absolutely MIND-BLOWING. Its A Small World first opened at the New York Worlds Fair, where its sponsor was Pepsi. The deal came about because one member of Pepsis then-current board of directors was ESPECIALLY adamant that they do something with Disney for the fair. That board member was the widowed wife of former Pepsi CEO Alfred Steele - a woman by the name of JOAN CRAWFORD. Yes, THAT Joan Crawford. Mommie Dearest Joan Crawford. So Its A Small World - which, need I remind you, is a prayer for peace about all the children of the world singing in harmony together - was shepherded into existence by THE MOST NOTORIOUS CHILD-ABUSER IN HISTORY. Thus, I present my revised time-travel priority list: 1. Kill Hitler. 2. Tell myself about the Joan Crawford connection in time to put a bunch of Mommie Dearest jokes in my Small World review. 3.
