I just love God stories!!! I was asked to pick up the speaker for the YWAM Ozarks 10 year Anniversary Celebration on Friday night, Dean Sherman, a YWAM speaker known all over the world. I was greatly anticipating the fellowship we would enjoy from XNA airport for the nearly two hour drive back to Ozark late Friday and into the wee hours Saturday morning. My soul was like a sponge, ready to absorb stories from this man of God, especially from the early days of YWAM. I was not disappointed. I even got share some of my own with him. But more important was the part God allowed me to have in the Celebration weekend. As we neared Ozark around 12:30 am I asked what Dean was planning to speak on since I would not be able to be at the morning message. His response was, I dont know yet. He was still waiting on God for what he would bring. How well I know what he was talking about. As we got off the expressway I knew I needed to pray fervently for God to speak to Dean about the message for the weekend. I specifically felt led to pray that God would speak to Dean in a dream as He often speaks to me. I wasnt quite prepared for what would happen. The next morning (in my absence) Dean announced to the group that not only had the Lord done that, Dean had dreamed all night long about what he should share, something that doesnt happen for him. What came of that was a morning and evening of anointed preaching. Bless the Lord for the amazing way He will use us if we are willing to be vessels for his filling. I am glad to be a clay pot for the Master to use.
