I just love how this works. Whenever someone stands up to the left its considered an extremist position. Moderate is the word used to discribe anyone who agrees or at least fails to oppose. Its always said that some handful of extremists are taking the party down or driving people away. If thats actually the case, why would the left tell us about it? You would think they would just let us hang ourselves. Reality is a little different. Sure there is a wide gamut of opinion and ideology in the Republican party, but this is just another tactic used by the left to intimidate people into remaining silent. If you oppose them, you get called names or are said to be following someone like Rush Limbaugh - you see, you cant be smart enough to come up with a position based on principle and stand by it. No, that just cant happen. It has to be that you are being told what to think. What really happens is that people like Limbaugh become popular because people agree with them. People dont agree with them because they are popular.
