I just need to get some clarity on something... i was on my way back home from casualties at Unitas Hospital with my 20 month old son, when i approached a red traffic light. I treated it as a 4-way stop as i saw another car in the opposite direction also waiting. Next thing I just see blue lights and sirens. They told me to pull over on a dark road but I refused and drove to my estate where I parked right in front of security. They got out and came to speak to me. So my question is: I would just like to find out if there is an actual law that states if a woman is driving alone at night after 22:00 she may stop at the red traffic light and proceed if it is safe to do so? I admitted I was in the wrong and was willing to take the fine. I never received anything. They also did not want a bribe. Im so confused as to what is right and what isnt anymore???
