I just published my first article about my PhD, which is related to quantum decision support systems. My article is entitled Interference Effects in Quantum Belief Networks and is available in the Applied Soft Computing Journal, Elsevier ( authors.elsevier/a/1PnU65aecSJCCJ ). In this article, we show that quantum probability theory is a more general framework that enables the accommodation of problems that violate the laws of probability theory (ex: prisoners dilemma game, two-stage gambling, etc). From this, I proposed a general framework for a quantum like Bayesian Network that can be used to accommodate these problems and derive probabilistic inferences that cannot be achieved using classical probability. The problem of quantum probabilistic inferences is concerned with the fact that it generates an exponential number of quantum parameters that need to be tuned. This also means that with quantum probability, any event can be possible. It just depends on the context of the problem. In this article, I leave as an open research question how this parameter fitting should be made. However, I am developing some work that already has some possible answers to this problem. I hope I can publish it very soon.
