I just read an article about the dangers of home hair color. I am curious to know how many people color their own hair. Also for what their reason is? MONEY, TIME, FLEXABILITY. I am looking to research this so if you are interested in being a part of this, please inbox me. We all try to save time and money so I do understand. But we also always try create healthy habbits. Did you know the hair on your head can hold everything you ingest for over 6 months. Did you know that the ammonia free hair dyes contain harsher ammonia supplements Did you know that the more home hair color you use can actually change the structure of your hair texture. I am not faulting anyone for saving time and money. Having 5 children and 2 businesses I also try to save time and money, but what is the price your paying for the health risks. We offer a color and cut special on mon and tues nights for $45. So clients dont have to drive to the store, figure out what box to buy, read directions, go home spread towels all over the bathroom, apply it behind your head while your arms are killing you. Sit on the toilet playing candy crush then you realized you left it on too long. Flip your head into your bathtub forget that you didnt grab your shampoo and drown yourself. Then scrub color off your neck and ask your family ,so how does it look??? When they return to the brussel sprouts on their plate you know its not good. Then wait a few days until those roots calm down before going to the salon to get your hair cut. And your stylist says, oh I see youve just recently colored your hair. Umm yah how does it look. And if my answer is unproffessional dont be upset. I have spend years learning my trade, thousands of dollars improving my skills. Dont think 20 minutes in your bathroom can compare. So all in all it will save you time and possibly some money. Because you dont have to make the mess drive here and there. Really I dont fault you at all. Just really think about it. Is it worth your hassle. So sorry for the long post but just a hump day realization.
