I just read the book: "Who Would Have Thought" I must confess I - TopicsExpress

I just read the book: "Who Would Have Thought" I must confess I obtained my book at this year’s Decatur’s Book Festival. The author (Phyllis Strong) was generous enough to give attendees a “freebie.” I’m so glad to have been given that gift. When I sat down to read this book, I found it not only interesting but fascinating. Although it speaks on domestic abuse, I was impressed that this author took a stand to expose her course – through the journey. It had to take a lot to let us (readers) know about a particular topic (such as this) and to say: “You’re not alone. Yes, I’ve been there; done that.” Not only does the author share that journey and its effects, there’s an array of beautiful heartfelt, nurturing poems the reader can embrace. I must say, “Such an easy read.” Matter of fact, I read it in one day; perhaps, that ‘cause I wanted to unfold those warming pages in that day - and didn’t want to wait ‘till another for discovery. If you’ve not read this book, you will want to! There are quite a few lessons that can be acquired from reading it. Publication of this book is just another task undertaken by this author; as a job well done!
