I just realized one of the biggest reasons pictures of people look so different now compared to like 100 or more years ago. Early pictures were taken by a photographer or someone with money cuz cameras were expensive and big and clunky. Self portraits were almost impossible. But now everybody has a camera in there pocket convenient and easy to use so the pictures are more relaxed and care free since there will be another opportunity in the near future to take another picture. No such thing as a selfie in 1900 lol not without the use of a physical remote controlled timer. If you were taking stupid silly pics with your friends making funny faces with your tongue out you were crazy rich back then cuz photography wasnt cheap. Just something I was thinking about on an early Sunday morning :)
