I just received a phone call from the nice clerk at Co-op Shoppes. I have apparently offended a Wal-Mart employee. I hope that she does call me so that I have the opportunity to discuss her concerns. I had, (I took it down,) a little sign in my Co-op Booth that said We appreciate you. Does Wal-Mart? I was raised with the philosophy that the customer is always right - so the sign has been removed. And I would never intentionally offend my customer. After all, that makes no sense. I rent my space there, so its not a reflection on the owner of the shop - nor is it the fault of the clerk. Her job today was to be nice to the customers - I think she did a pretty good job of that considering all things. I do appreciate my customers. I also appreciate Wal-Mart employees when they are courteous. I do not appreciate Wal-Mart (the company) or the way it has bull-dozed small towns. Thats my honest opinion and Im saying it in the most honest and polite manner that I can.
