I just received news that the Surface Transportation Board has DENIED the petition from Ballard Terminal Railroad Company for an injunction blocking the City of Kirkland from removing the rails from the Cross Kirkland Corridor. This means that Kirkland can proceed with removing the rails and creating the interim trail.
