I just received some of the best news! My Drs office called with results from my lab work and EVERYTHING looks great! My health has already improved drastically since I had my procedure done in June. Just about everything that was checked is now within normal range, except for my triglycerides, which were still a just a little high, but compared to what they were, I have come a long way!! My good cholesterol is the closest its been in years to being in a normal range. I was told to discontinue taking some more of my medications now! Woo Hoo! Even though the weight is not coming off as fast as I wish it would, and my body has been super stubborn about dropping pounds the last month, my health has greatly improved with what I have lost so far and by eating right and by adding exercise! I have lost inches over the past month, so that makes me feel good! Plus the weight will keep coming off, Im sure, I guess that I a slow loser! I am now even more convinced that I did the right thing by deciding to have the gastric bypass surgery. I already feel way better than I did before surgery!
