I just receiver something new from Langley Custom Cues. They are jaw protectors but they really protect what ever is in the jaws of the lathe chuck. There are 2 different types. One is soft for holding finished cues and the other is harder for turning tips and ferrules and such. They work very well and leave no marks on anything chucked in the jaws.
