I just remembered this from lastnights news... So Sadique Kebonang says the upcoming Leather Park in Lobatse will yield employment for 10,000 youth in Lobatse... I repeat and I wish to be quoted 10,000 jobs. To my understanding the Leatherpark will need P300,000,000 and that is an impressive figure on paper but like any other project thats set up shop in Lobatse will the Leather-Park live up to its reputation? Not forgetting Milk-Africa which has been labelled controversial by many in the town of Lobatse. Dont get me wrong fellow brothers and sisters, Im all for development and youth empowerment through employement. But when you look at BP (British Petroleum) in Scotland, it employs 3000 employees and deals in much more large volumes of work and its seed capital is far much more than the leather-park. My arguement or rather confusion here is the proposition of TEN THOUSAND jobs in Lobatse.... I wish God to grant it for the sake of the town of Lobatse...
