I just rescued a 7 wk old kitten from the 10 highway who was crouching on the white broken lines btwn the 2 most far right lanes in San Bernardino in Southern California traffic. At vet now, he is getting fluids, antibiotics, cornea test, steroid shot for shock, blood draw for feline leukemia and has just a small scratch under his eye w what looks like no broken bones, ruptured diaphragm or gall bladder. Orange tabby, boy, not neutered, super sweet and needs a good home. It took me 3 passes to get him and picked him up on the road side crying against a brick sound wall where I parked my truck. I am covering vet bills to make sure he is healthy while I foster him through the first few days to see how he does. Pass along if someone you know would love to have him. He got the will to make it!
