I just returned from visiting patients at Virginia Mason Hospital - TopicsExpress

I just returned from visiting patients at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seatttle. As I walked back through the sky bridges I thought about how this place has changed and prospered through the last 30 years. I tried to count the number of times I have spent the night there. In the early morning the buzz is slow and it just picks up through out the day until night time when it is quiet in the hallways again. As hospital personel say hi to me recognizing me as a familiar face I pray for them. Yes, I pray for the hospitals as well as the patients. I love being a pastor in Seattle. What a party it has been for 30 years now. God is so good here to us in this most beautiful city in the world. I wish I spoke all the languages of all the people, I wish I understood every neighborhood so much better, there are so many to care for, so many to encourage, so many to share the good news with, it feels like today is the first day of the rest of my life.
