I just saw the replay of the game between the New Jersey Devils vs. Toronto Maple Leafs and it was a good and wild game. Early in the 1st period, the Devils came out and played well and scored the first goal to take a 1-0 lead. Then in the 2nd period, both teams had scoring chances and started to exchange goal. Early in the period, the Leafs scored a goal to tie the game at 1-1. Then a couple of minutes later, the Devils came back and took back the lead at 2-1. Then midway in the period, the Leafs scored a shorthanded goal and tied the game at 2-2. Then towards the end of the period, the Devils had a powerplay chance and the Devils took a timeout to set up a play and the Devils scored the goal and re-took the lead at 3-2. Then in the 3rd period, the Devils took the momentum of the game and had some good scoring chances which lead to 2 goals and the Devils win. The New Jersey Devils beat the Toronto Maple Leafs by the score of 5-3. The goalscorers were Gelinas, Gionta, Cammalleri, Bernier and Henrique. Cory Schneider played good in net and made 29 saves to get his 10th victory of the season. The Devils played good on offense to score 5 goals and played a good game overall. And finally the Devils end the 5 game winless streak with this victory. I was happy with the effort. Onto the next game on Saturday at home against the Washington Capitals. Lets see if this win can get the Devils into a winning streak and momentum. Lets see what happens. LETS GO DEVILS!!!
