I just saw this article and it just shows so much of what is ass backwards with the medical system when it comes to births in America. There is always a witch hunt for women who choose this path in a state that does not allow at home births. We have a high infant mortality rate because of the invasive procedures in hospitals which often are unnecessary, induction is rampant and places mother and child in a high risk situation, we need to reclaim our rights as mothers and look at countries with lower mortality rates, all which include midwifery and at home births, giving the woman back her power to deliver a child on her own in her own home. offthegridnews/2014/06/25/police-seize-healthy-baby-because-it-was-a-home-birth/
