Message Text: PLEASE never again vote to shut down our Government, including the National Parks ! You were used by Republican Leadership (Rules Committe w/Rob Bishop) when you presided over efforts by many Democrats to bring a Clean Resolution to the Floor for a vote. It was embarrassing for my Senator to be so used. DONT BACK THE TEA PARTY and its extremist positions. Vote in the interest of our Nation, State and your constitutents, BTW, it is interesting that the Utah Legislature is fighting to take over much if not all of the federal land in Utah. Perhaps Utah should just not be hypocritical and drop its request (demand) that the Federal Governnent reimburse Utah for the cost incurred to open the Parks. After all You (Chaffetz), Stewart and Bishop were responsible for closing the National Parks ! The three of you also voted to KEEP THE GOVERNMENT CLOSED !
