I just sent this message to the Foreign Secretary - The position of the US and UK governments who seem to unconditionally support and indeed arm the Israel regime enabling them to slaughter unarmed women and children in Gaza and Palestine without any compassion whatsoever is totally unacceptable - indeed I believe your UK government to be complicit in this slaughter and therefore responsible for the War Crimes currently being committed by the Israeli state. This Genocide needs far more than a few meaningless mutterings about a ceasefire (presumably after Israel totally annihilates what little is left of the stolen Palestinian lands?). If the Israeli government does not stop this genocide immediately then Britain should lead the way in imposing a total trade and arms embargo; and should be arguing strongly for UN intervention. Will Britain for once act to protect innocent women and children? - or will this country continue to show that all it is interested in is the dirty profits to be made from supporting this terrorist regime, at whatever cost to the ordinary people of the Middle East? It is about time Britain stood up and recognised the harm it has done by forcing the 1946 mandate on the people of the Middle East, and should be working to minimise the ongoing effects of that action by showing compassion to the ousted residents of that region, instead of propping up and supplying the occupying aggressors!
