I just spent the last hour holding my beautiful little niece at the dinner table and couldnt help but think of this the whole time I held her in my arms: How sweet to hold a newborn baby, And feel the pride and joy he gives; But greater still the calm assurance: This child can face uncertain days because He Lives! Ill be honest, when I got back into my car to drive home I broke. For just a few moments earlier I was crying out to the Lord questioning His reasoning for certain things in my life. Ive been weeping uncontrollably ever since, repenting for question the Lord. Hes got me in His arms and I can have this calm assurance that I can face uncertain days because He lives. I dont understand everything, in fact I understand very little, but this is my anthem tonight: Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living, Just because He lives!
