I just spoke with my dads nurse and he became disoriented during the night. He is not doing as well as we had hoped and is still struggling with rapid heart rates and low oxygen levels. He will be having surgery today at 1:00 to have his necrotic toe removed. It is not the cause of his infection but could become a secondary. I would ask to keep my father and my family in your thoughts and prayers today that he may come out with no major problems. My father is my rock and he is the one who never gets sick. This past year has been very hard on him physically and I just pray he is able to keep up the good fight.
