I just talked to the Vet on duty at the hospital and sadly Sherlocks fever has gone back up this morning to 104.6. It stayed pretty low grade thru most of the night and just spiked within the last few hours. They have a call into Dr. Green and they will call me as soon they talk and see how he wants to proceed. They did a fecal exam and his stool was loaded with bacteria so he is on a antibiotic for that and that seems to be resolving itself. This Dr. felt that Dr. Green might put Sherlock on some Prednisone. So Im waiting for the call and will go visit with him after that if they think thats advisable. This was not the news I was hoping for so we battle on. Thanks!
