I just want everyone to be perfectly clear on something... I love liberty. I love America, its people, and what it is supposed to be(ya know, what we were taught in schools). I understand that we need government, we need certain laws, and we need structure, with a strong military to defend us(key word being defend). What I do NOT believe in is what we have let ourselves become. A dishonest tyrannical world bully, ruled by not we-the-people, but instead by corporations, and central banking interests. We are supposed to be the land of the free, yet our prison populations are the highest in the WORLD. We are supposed to be the land of the brave, yet our military has a higher suicide rate than casualty rate(Im not saying our military men and women are not good people, or brave people persay, just pointing out that that is a STAGGERING, and alarming statistic) We constantly see the constitution being circumvented, and in many cases, outright betrayed. The Patriot Act, NDAA 2012, the NSA wire and internet tapping, torture of inmates, authorizing predator drone strikes on US citizens!..... and the list goes on and on. There is something very wrong with this picture. What we are told is that we are over seas "helping" these countries, when the reality is that we are oppressing people, building permanent military installations, and killing hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children with our sophisticated weaponry. And when a few fight back, we demonize the whole of them by labeling them insurgents and terrorists, causing more attacks and more casualties, on both sides. This my friends is wrong, no matter what way you slice it. We have lost far too much to even remotely say that we have won anything(a Punic victory) So when I hear political figureheads saying the words "freedom" or "liberty", I wonder if those words are bitter on their tongues. Those are now just buzz words in a collapsing republic, lost of all their intended meaning. Leaders talk the talk of peace and freedom, but walk the walk of cruelty, and injustice. Not just on people abroad, but of our own people here at home. I may seem like just some "nut" to the unenlightened and ignorant, but if you can look into your own heart and say that what we are doing is right, and that there is nothing wrong with what I just said(which btw, can all be completely backed up by cold hard facts), then my friend, it is in my opinion that you are the "nut" and I truly feel sorry for you. Remember what America is supposed to be, a beacon of hope to the world, of liberty, justice, and freedom for all, not just the very few at the top. We have been lead astray, but it is not too late to clear Americas once good name, both within our nation, and throughout the world. I dedicate this to all those who died on 9-11-2001, may liberty and justice prevail
