I just want to go on record and say that the production Breathe was one of the best stage performances I have seen in a LONG time. I did not expect it to be so moving, funny entertaining and thought provoking. I only knew a few people that were associated with the production; and initially, I was only going to support them. Instead, the writer, musicians and cast gained a new fan. I will support whatever this team does in the future. The piece was historically accurate with artistic dialogue and music that made you, in the words of Tupac, feel like black was the thang to be. I am so proud of Kesha Rose Courtney Arlett Tyson Evans the writer and everyone else involved. I feel bad that I was one of maybe 100 or so people to experience this LIVE. This production should be witnessed by everyone. Next time this team puts out a project, I suggest you see it. Its breathtaking. I hope someone taped it, because I will DEFINITELY purchase it.
