I just want to point out how truly amazing it was to walk into a spirit filled room every night this past week. I seriously have no words. This week has taught me so much. From the little things, to the big things. God worked through some crazy mess this week. He helped us forgive, relieve our weights, and for some, even find our calling. Some may know that in the past year, I was called to be a youth minister. But this week, god told me that before the big journey begins, I still have an entire year to make something happen. It may be little, but it is possible! And I truly believe that he has great plans not only for me, but for all of us. He showed me leadership skills that I didnt even know I had acquired. And believe me, I had no idea how much the younger youth looked up to me until I saw them all walking around saying YASSS and FIERCE! But more than that, I remember one of the middle schoolers looking at me and saying hi with a scared expression on his face, as if I was going to ignore him. And when I walked over and began to talk and get to know him, he had the biggest smile in his face. And I know what was going through his mind because Ive been there before. I could go on and on forever! But i just want to say one more thing. I thank god every day for brining Adam Garton and Cheri Garton into my life. Without them, I honestly have no idea where I would be. They brought me to a loving place where everyone fits in. And they brought us AMAZING youth leaders that have helped me so much! I would seriously take those long walks up those steep hills, and those really uncomfortable beds in the cabin with no air conditioning to be back in the room worshipping and watching this youth group grow! Youve done an amazing job pastor Adam and Cheri! 😁❤️
