I just want to post some info for anyone shopping for a wedding dress or other fancy dress. I went to davids bridal to get my dress, couldnt look at any dresses without an appointment, when I got my appointment the lady who they had help me was rude and not helpful, she failed to telll me that my dress would need alterations and how much those were going to cost, not even an estimate. Went back to get my dress, another lady told me alterations would be $200 + 60 to bustle it and 6 dollars for each bustle point. ( my dress needed about 6) Upon hearing this I decided to go else where for the alterationa. I found a place called Springs Bridal and Ballroom through the recommendation of a friend. The lady was super helpful and only. Charged me 120 including the bustle and second alterations they had to make. My maid of honor ordered a white ribbon to go around my dress from davids bridal which took 2 weeks to get here and when it came in they had no idea it was even there. My soon to be mother in law went there to look for a dress, they told her she had to have someone help her and made her wait. I just want to let everyone know if you are searching for the perfect gown, davids bridal is not the best place, they are un educated, un friendly and overly expensive. Hope this helps anyone out so this doesnt happen to you.
