I just want to say one thing loud and clear which is that I do not believe everything we did in our time at the helm of the music business was better, smarter or necessarily more important then what the Djs and musicians of today are achieving. It was just different in the time and surrounds we experienced and the new music and talent is currently learning how to function and grow into their time. If those of you who truly love the music as a whole want to see it thrive and prosper then you must make an effort to make it better and to do so,you must first learn the rules and understand the music of today in an emotional way and why it applies to each new audience of today! It is a long hard and sometimes humbling experience as you begin your journey and realize that you must relearn that which you were once the best of in the world. But talking first hand, I can tell you that is can be done and I have been able because of my love of the art form to do it. This is music and these are the rules of this game, so either play by them or accept the fact that youre doomed to fail in an obscure sheepish . Learn the craft and be relevant today or you cant and wont succeed it and and further more you will have no reason or value to continue in it! The choice is yours, to either be relevant today and impact on a what can be an amazing future or live in the past and be that Shooting Star burning bright in your memories and then gone to the land or irrelevance and obscurity!
