I just want to say thank you to the parents and fans for all the support. We had a great run as a team but fell short of our team goal. We all know things dont always go our way. Sometimes its a hard pill to swallow but theres always an opportunity to learn from it. Ennis is a very good team. I truly have a lot of respect for that program. I also want to make sure I clarify what the article was trying g to convey in te Tribune on Friday. It was never intended to disregard past players and coaches. It was merely trying to state how incredibly hard the players and coaches have worked to get to the level of success theyve reached these past couple years. I apologize If it came across as being negative or offending past simms teams. Finally, I want to say thank-you to the senior class. I couldnt have asked for a better group of guys and Ive been struggling with knowing you wont be there next year. I love you all and again, thank you for everything.
