I just want to share a little public service announcement. Last night I along with many other talented people went up on the stage at the Wunderkammer. I was ready, but Ill admit I dont have a lot of experience on the stage in front of an audience. Look, I say that to say this, I got up there. I wanted to focus on the negative....dang Jessica you choked up a little etc. etc But experience has taught me that if I keep plugging away at it. Ask for help. Show up and do the best I can then Im already doing better then what I was yesterday. Ive had the joy of seeing myself and others grow in areas and Ive learned...its a process. It doesnt come overnight but we ALL have one thing in common. We keep trying. From some of my greatest failures is where I have experienced the most growth. So what I want to say is....no Im not Lemon Anderson on the mic, yet. I dont just win, win, win....but I try, try, try. In a year Ill look back on this experience and say Damn girl youve grown Thanks to everyone who was a part of last night. Its a pleasure to be a part of your growth as well as my own. Peace and love to all this Halloween and if your kids got any Reeses they aint fond of Ill take them off your hands because peanut butter is protein.
