I just want to thank everyone for their support of our organization, it means a lot to us. I also want to apologize about being a bit slow this year with setting events for our fans and the public, conducting workshops and lectures, conducting analysis of third party audio, video and photographic submissions, responding promptly to messages, emails, etc. Not too many people realize that earlier this year (January) that I (Greg Myers, President of PTF) suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke and almost crossed the veil to the other side. However, I was very lucky and that did not happen nor did I suffer from a comma or any paralysis. I did gain instant dyslexia (without agraphia) and loss my lifelong ability to read. With several months of therapy, I have been improving with this area and can read simple shout things very slow ... but making baby step progressions each week. After loosing Tom Halstead last year due to a stroke and now this happening to me has resulted in some minor setbacks with the organization within certain areas of operation. However, these temporary dysfunctions are starting to correct themselves and I am able to accomplish more tasks related to the organization. They tell me that after suffering from such an incident that improvement will continue for about a year to a yare and a half before it stops progressing. I am determined to recover 100% of my ability and be as good as I was prior to the stroke, however with healthier life improving habits. I wanted to wait until I improved for some time after the incident before letting you all know about what happened. I did not want to worry anyone and create a fuss which could have distracted myself and other members of the team more. Me not being able to do the things I use to with PTF was distraction enough with challenges for them. I also want to thank members of PTF for keeping the organization rolling and on track and especially to Sandy Oates (our Vice President) who stepped in for me and did my duties plus hers within the organization. She is still continuing doing all of the things I cant and will be fore some time. I also want to thank those of you who have been patient with PTF for slower responses, etc. and for still continuing to support us. I feel very luck and blessed to still be around to interact with everyone! Greg Myers, President Paranormal Task Force
