I just wanted to give a status update to folks. As many know, I was giving up my current job and accepted a position at the Pensacola Naval Hospital in the Physical Standards Branch. It was a great position and the people and environment seemed really awesome. Thank you to all who served as references and supported me during that job process. However, as most know, my son Chris got ill and was hospitalized. I was already hesitant about leaving the family behind in Alabama to move to Florida but his illness brought it into perspective for me and I just didnt feel like I could leave. I ended up turning the job away and I remain in Alabama ready to watch Chris and Tehya in all their athletic and academic adventures this year, watch Jordan graduate college, and see Dan go through a very challenging police academy. I am back on the job hunt so if yall get a call from a VA somewhere...its all good and I appreciate your support. Thanks again everyone.
