I just wanted to give an update following my surgery. Sorry for posting so late. First, THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you who prayed & lifted me up to our Lord and Savior prior to, during, after my surgery, & for contd prayers. I can never thank you enough!!! The prayer clothes and prayer blanket I received touched me dearly! I give God all the glory for the surgery going well!!! God placed a special surgery nurse (just for me) at my side before surgery & during surgery. We were talking and I told him I was a Christian and nervous about the surgery. He stopped what he was doing, took my hand, & prayed for me. He was a bi-vocational pastor. What a blessing to have a Pastor roll right on into surgery with me!!! Coming out ot anesthesia, they asked me to move my arms/legs. I would have jumped out of that bed if I hadnt been so looney!!lol Of course the first two weeks werent a bed of roses, but Im not complaining. I do have weakness in my left arm, hand, & my thumb is numb. I have some weakness in my legs, but Im getting better day by day. Still a good bit of swelling in my neck/back. This will continue to improve. Please cont to pray with me for a complete healing. Pray my spinal cord has plenty of room and I wont need a second surgery in the future. Thank you again for your prayers. Thank you Bro Randy for praying with me and being there during the surgery. Thank you for those who came by to visit with Darla & Hilary and those that came to visit me after. God is so good!
