I just wanted to post this quick traveling disclaimer. PLEASE DO NOT book a ticket to Central America, (unless its Costa Rica) South America (unless its Argentina) anywhere in Africa or the Middle East if you havent been outside of your state! If you want to travel start small. Go to Europe for a week. Hit Florida or New York if youve never left your state. Dont throw yourself into the craziness of Automatic gun welding civilians that want your money and might flat out hate Americans. I wouldnt wish that on anyone. Much less so if its for their first trip. Ive been to 29 countries and Im more scared than you can imagine every time the plane touches down in one of those places I mentioned. But I started small. And I built up from there. Because that was something I had always wanted to do. I did it slowly. Rome wasnt built in a day. And neither will you be as a traveler. Life isnt a race. So what are you waiting for? Go somewhere next month if thats something youve always wanted to do. Someday is a disease that most people take to their graves Most excuses not to travel are just that. Excuses. Its easy to blame external forces for your inaction. No one on their deathbed is wishing they had spent more time at work. Enjoy your life. Conditions are never perfect. If there is something you want to do just do it and correct course along the way. Many a false step was made by standing still. Most people will choose unhappiness over uncertainty l am an old man and have known a great many troubles but most of them never happened. Usually what we fear most doing is what we most need to do.
