I just wanted to say a huge shout out of admiration and respect to my friend Sanaz Khoshkhoo, who as a Muslim lady living in Iran and facing immanent war, she and her family have taken into their home a Christian family whose house was destroyed by ISIS forces currently invading Southern Iraq. Listening to this lady talk about her life and living with the constant fear of war on her border, having experienced death in her own family in past wars herself, is an incredibly humbling experience often leaving me at a loss. Were just so incredibly lucky in this country. So... May be, if you could, take a little time out of your day, just a few seconds even, to imagine what that actually would be like if it were us and our families instead of theirs, having our house destroyed by guns, mortar and armed men, because this is what is happening to these families, people just like you and me and our kids etc... And then maybe say a little prayer, or wish them well, in hope that other such war torn families can find kind hearted people like Sanaz and hers, to give them sanctuary. Kudos Sanaz. Namaste.
