I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all those who sposored me for the Channel Swim last week. It is so generous of all of you who helped me not only reach it but also to exceed my target! Our boat ended up raising about £14,000 pounds for Aspire and i can assure you that every penny of it will be put to good use. Its very humbling that everyone put there hand in there pockets and it certinly helped motivate me to get through the training and jump off the boat into the cold sea when we were doing the swim. Also wanted to say thank you to the team Simon, Simon, Freya Ho, Ellie, Rebecca and Philip. Without all of you it would not have been possible and on top of that our ocean chats, early mornings and late night would not have been half as enjoyable!! It has been a long road back from breaking my back in November 2012, and i cant thank everyone enough for helping me get through the pain, despondant days and also tough times. My family were there for me throughout as well as my very beautiful, patient, pregnant and loving wife Kate and they all helped to put me back together again. Finally a massive thank you to all my friends for all there time, energy and help getting me back on my feet again, and a special thank you to Simon for agreeing to swim the Channel with me and sharing a once in a lifetime exeperiance!
