I just wanted to share a story with you of Gods sweet provision for our family! The company Ive been working for for the last couple of months is going through some major changes and right now, so just a few of the employees are working. My hours were totally cut starting about a week and a half ago. Since it is our only source of substantial income right now with Will on summer break, we are wondering how the Lord will provide through the month of August - will the situation be resolved so I can go back to work? Will I be able to focus more on tutoring & my direct sales business? We are confident in this: He will provide. Within a day of finding out my hours were cut, I had been contacted by two people about needing a tutor. Thursday, we were given an envelope with an anonymous gift equal to one weeks pay. Today, we received a gift card in the mail to the local grocery store. Those two gifts will give us the ability to make it through the next few days & pay our bills while we regroup and figure out what the next step is. In my 12 years of following Jesus, He has not. once. failed. in who He says He is, or what He promises. He has made beauty from ashes. He has provided abundantly where we could not see a way. He has proven His Word and His character true. I wait and watch with expectation what He will do next...! If you find yourself in a similar place, be encouraged that God is faithful to His Word and to you all of the time, even if you cant see it in the moment. Im praying for you, that youll be able to take Him at His word no matter where youre at.
