I just wanted to share with everyone something that concerned me after school today: I saw an extended black van with two men on my street in Bridlewood as I was pulling out to pick up my kids today. They circled around our cul-de-sac and even backed up and I just assumed they were looking for an address. Then I drove around to the back trail pick up area where Singletree and Catalpa meet. Jr. High and high school students were already on the sidewalks and the same van pulled over and rolled down the passenger window to talk to some of them. The kids kept walking and wouldnt talk to them. I pulled over and got out of my car to ask the men if they were lost or needed help. As soon as I walked toward them, they left. I wrote down the license plate number and decided to call the police. I just told them it was a vehicle I hadnt seen before and the men were trying to talk to kids on the way home from school and asked if theyd drive around and take a look. I did see two different police cars in just the next few minutes, but I was waiting for my kiddos, and the van had moved on. Im pretty sure Im a crazy, overly-cautious mom. They may have just been lost or unable to find an address... but it felt weird, so Im sharing just in case.
