I just wanted to take the time to thank all of you who reached out and offered assistance a couple of weeks ago when we were looking a companion to our 12yo Siamese Cleo... so an update. We opened our home to a 4yo lilac point Lacy. After a couple of days in her own room she decided to take matters pretty much in her own hands... to say she isnt backwards in coming forwards would be the understatement of the century, even if wariness tempered her curiosity a tad. She quite likes sleeping in our room... Cleo however still wont have a bar of sharing mums lap in bed thank you very much. Our Burmese sook is also coming around... slowly, but no longer squawking at Lacy. I do have to wonder where on earth Lacy hides her second (and possibly third) stomach though... if she expects to keep her delicate figure she might want to stop stealing everybodys food... I do suspect though that she doesnt really care about her waistline so thats just one more grey hair in the making for her parents :-\ For one week in the family, she already seems right at home... I suspect shes a little nuts, but that just makes her fit in here all the more.
