I just wanted to take this moment to thank all of you that supported me in Molokai2Oahu Paddleboard Race yesterday. All of your positive wishes and thoughts carried me through a rather rough go yesterday. With a combination of bad Paddleboard selection, a lingering injury that reared its ugly head and a mind-set that probably wasnt the best for what I undertaking, thinking of all of the support I had helped me complete the race. Special thanks go out to Tom and Jennifer OHara Hintnaus, Rhonda Lombardini Tessem and Eric Tesssem, Ed McCall, Mike Cote, Joe Bark and my sister Andrea Sintes and her family, who without all their support I never would have completed this race. I was very tempted to pull out of the race about an hour and a half into it due to the discomfort in my lower back and right hip, but I kept thinking back to all of the words of encouragement from all of you and it helped drive me towards the finish! Also, feeling the presence of my parents guiding me from above, as I went along, provided an invaluable sense of comfort as well! Again, I cant express how thankful I am for all of your love and support, and even though I didnt do as well as I expected, finishing it made the journey all worth while. Thank You!!
