I just wanted to thank Mike, Jessep, and all of the Homeless Angels! The outpouring of love and support has been so heartwarming!! You have given us hope when we had lost it!! I cant imagine how hard it would be, to be forced to walk away from your home after 61 years. And to have 10 days to decide what means something to you and doesnt is mindblowing! Everything in his home, he has worked his entire life to own. Never asking for help, but always giving his when needed. He has had chest pains this afternoon but refused to leave because this is HIS WORLD! He doesnt understand how something like this can happen in the USA. He was suppose to be living the American Dream and WOW, if this is it, somethings wrong with the concept. While I agree with the closing of the park, I dont on the time (worst winter in 3 decades) and the time restraints! Give us 30 days and we would be dancing out of here. My sister, Penny Carrier Williams is flying in tomorrow to assist in the move and to end the journey where it all began for both of us. Friday, my father Jewel Carrier, my sister Penny, and myself, Trish Greer will walk out of our home, for the last time with our dignity intact and hope in our hearts!
