I just watched Battlestar Galactica Razor for the first time. Wow, what a load of horseshit that movie was selling. More proof that filmmakers don’t get the military, even fake militaries from outer space. The movie features an Admiral, a coward hiding behind her rank, who murders one of her officers on the bridge of her ship. Then orders other officers to steal, kidnap, and murder a group of refugees. Finally the central premise is that if you become a pocket knife for as long as you can that makes you a shaving implement?!?!? What hell is that shit. To add a slight amount of clarity the “pocket knife” is supposed to represent a weapon (unfeeling emotionless) and the shaving implement or razor is supposed to represent a “tool of war.” Nope it still doesn’t clear up a damn thing.
