I just witnessed and experienced the most terrifying incident and i pray that nobody else would be a victim or a witness of such event. I was making my way home from makati as i took my lovely baby Sars Tuya to work because i wanted to show her that i support her while she balancesd work and her board reviews. Naturally, i was happy to have been able to conduct such an act. i rode a bus heading for crossing and then proceeded with what i normally do, slap on my headset and listen to music as i make my way home. To me, it was a perfect night. As the bus reached boni, 4 normal looking guys boarded the bus but caught my eye coz as the other 3 made their way to the back, 1 stayed beside the conductor and the driver. Then came this unforgetable scream, the 4 men declared a hold up. the lady sitting beside me began to cram up against me. i was in shock yet i had the conciousness to remove my headsets and throw it to the ground while i took my phone and wedged it againts my seat. i then watched it all happen. the man beside the conductor pointed a switch blade to him and took the money paid by by all the pasengers of the day, the 3 other men started to grab bags from women and cellphones from men. what rattled me the most is that 1 of muggers approached the lady beside me (to my left since i was beside the window) and pulled her samsung s3 (i noticed as she was playing candy crush during the journey). after her phone had been taken the same man proceed to a gentleman (well dressed) sitting in the front of my aisle and tried to take his laptop bag. Suprisingly this man played tug of war with the mugger event up to the point where the mugger would lunge forward pretending to stab him, yet he did not let go. The gentleman tried to back up and even stood up on his chair and crossed over his seat to my aisle where his leg was danggling in front of me. i wanted to pull him in however he was still holding on to his laptop bag. the other muggers then signaled that they were going to deboard and this mugger, unable to steal this laptop bag, hammered his knife into the bag obviously piercing the laptop. All this in just less than 2min and i watched it all. i helped the man back to his seat with my right hand while my left arm was being embraced by this crying and frightened stranger. as the bus driver quickly tried to drive off, i heard people at the back screaming for police aid. i just sat there and attempted to comfort this lady beside me. the bus reached crossing where there were traffic officers and people who were unaffected quickly made their way off. as for the people who have been mugged, they stayed in the bus crying and shouting. i said to the lady beside me "safe n po tyo, may police n" and she let go of my arm as i quickly deboarded. i acted as if nothing happened. in slapped on my headsets and just continued on my way home. I’m thankful that nobody was hurt and that the people who were left in the bus are now talking to the police (as if may magagawa pa mga police) but i started to reflect on what happened. I prayed while i walked from crossing shaw to my village. PUTANG INA MGA MAGNANAKAW NA UN, MAMATAY N SILANG LAHAT.
