I just witnessed the DAMNEDEST thing, I am seriously AWE struck, and it makes me completely rethink animals. I have a wounded bird in my back yard. It has been hidden in the bushes for a couple of days, and I have been keeping an eye on it. Its not a Robin, but just now, I saw a Robin in the yard, taking on a grasshopper. It killed the grasshopper, and I was assuming it was about to eat it. Instead, it picked it up, and flew it over to the bushes, where it HANDED IT TO THE WOUNDED BIRD!!! My jaw hit the floor! Though, it also made me a little sad to think that it seems birds are socially advancing to want to help the sick and infirmed among themselves, of even different species, than us humans...
