I just woke up and cant believe our first competition of the season is here!!! Its been seven months of hardwork, commitment and dedication hitting the stage in just a few hours. I am so proud of each and every ROYALENOVIAN and amazed over how much each and every one of you have improved this year.There are so many emotions running through me at this time... Im anxious to showcase 100 new routines, nervous for our first time competitors, who I hope have the greatest experience ever. Sad,yet happy that Ive spent the past decade with such incredible team members who will be competing in their last, first regional Ryan Schaefer ,Sarah Z, Alexa P, Melissa Thienel and Martin A King. Excited for all of the Royalenovian 2014 dance company to do what they love most. But, MOST OF ALL lucky and proud to have not only talented kids, but a wonderful staff and guest choreographers who have helped inspire, motivate, and educate our students this year... My amazing working machines Lisa Lerner and Megan Forestal for working endless hours, keeping our team as organized as possible, being my wings when Im falling and most of all our endless hours of chat,messaging, and late night talks. We have become so close these past three years and you both help the impossible become possible! Love you dearly.... Another big thank you to Annmarie DiNaro- Montalbano and Rosario Cannata for designing our 2014 makeup and filming the tutorial for each dancer, you have helped make our dancers even more beautiful.I would, also, like to send much appreciation to Charles Rocco Jr Meigan Madden Rocco Bernadette Chaplin-Swope Susan Tocci(MIKE) Adam Cangin for helping with props, trailer, driving and building... I appreciate all you have done to help and could not have done it alone. (I did purchase a sheet of 1/2 inch plywood) Last but not least, I would like to send the hugest thank you to our ROYALENOVIAN PARENTS for whom without, this would not be possible. Thank you for sharing your brilliant children with me, they light up my life every day. Watching them grow and having the opportunity to learn more and more about them each time we enter the dance room, makes every Blood, sweat, and tear moment worth it. After a year of preparation and chat of competing you will now be entering your first weekend of many! Although you have no idea what to expect, you are always ready with such a smile and positive attitude. I, along with, our entire ROYALENOVA family are very excited to have you apart of our team this weekend. I cant thank you enough for being my back bone during this entire preparation process of late nights designing costumes, early mornings of editing music, commuting weekly from NYC to the Hamptons, picking chorepgraphers from airport, opening our homes to guest teachers and students, and most of all never letting me forget to believe in myself and support my vision. Every time the music hits the speaker I love you more and more. This is going to be an incredible DANCE SEASON!!!!!.... DANCE your hearts out and BELIEVE in yourselves. Lets face the music and DANCE!!!! HEAR YE HEAR YE ROCK THE HOUSE LIKE ROYALTY... ROYALENOVA WOOP WOOP WOOP!!!!! ITS OVA like ROYALENOVA 2014!!!!
