I just woke up from a late nap and after looking at the time a sinking feeling overcame me as the thought of being terribly late raced through my mind. I rushed downstairs in desperate hope of finding my mom home and able to give me a ride, but I found my dad sitting there watching TV. How curious I thought. Hes never up this early sitting there as he was. I then asked him if it was morning. Seriously! I didnt believe him at first, but I was feeling too disoriented and too self conscious to argue with him about the time but I did mutter a Really? At that he stuck out his wrist to show me his watch that kept the correct time. I didnt look but chose to show that I believed him by nodding and then walking back up the stairs, brows still furrowed. Doubt still lingers, but itll fade. God, I must be tired.
