I keep discovering new dimensions of authenticity. Today I realized that acknowledging ones own inauthenticity, at least to oneself, is also authenticity. Accepting ones unwillingness or inability to be completely authentic and open in some situations or with certain people is also authenticity. Embracing all the ways in which we trip over ourselves, not once or twice, but all the time can be a most humbling, endearing, intimate experience if we are willing to see it and feel it as it is, and not through the eyes of judgement or failure. So no matter where you live, may you abide in authenti-city!
